Students will present their projects for discussion in an informal and supportive group setting with one – to – one tutorials where the focus is on mentoring from the tutor alongside critical peer reviews, with guidance given on art historical and contemporary related models, exhibition curation and gallery visits.

What The Course is About:

Students will present their projects for discussion in an informal and supportive group setting with one - to - one tutorials where the focus is on mentoring from the tutor alongside critical peer reviews, with guidance given on art historical and contemporary related models, exhibition curation and gallery visits. Students will be expected to work independently in-between classes whilst utilising the studio time as a space to test - out, explore and challenge their current methodologies whatever their chosen media which may include painting, sculpture, drawing, mixed media, video, sound, installation, photography.

Materials Required:

Any media relevant to personal project/themes.

Previous Experience:

This is advanced course aimed at artists/art practitioners who may be returning to their practice.

End of course:

This course offers an opportunity for group members to explore new ideas, develop personal projects and re - invigorate their work with renewed confidence.
