What The Course is About:
This course is designed for students who wish to develop a strong portfolio of artwork, whether for GCSE, A Level, or as preparation for art school applications. It provides a supportive environment to refine skills and expand creative projects, with many students choosing to use the sessions to extend or enhance their school coursework.
What You’ll Learn
- Drawing: Explore subject matter through image and object studies, developing observational and technical skills.
- Painting: Work within chosen themes, applying techniques to bring ideas to life on canvas or paper.
- Methods & Materials: Experiment with a variety of mediums—including pencils, charcoal, and brushes—while learning how to prepare surfaces and apply different approaches.
