Sculpture & Ceramics

We have pottery courses as well and pay as you go classes. If you’d like to learn more about ceramics you can explore the possibilities and limitations of clay: terracotta/white/crank/mixed body.

2 Days: Surface Printing on Clay

A Surface Printing on Clay course is a specialized ceramic workshop focusing on decorating pottery using printmaking techniques like screen printing, monoprinting, and stencils. Participants will learn to apply slip, oxides, or underglazes onto clay slabs or bisqueware, combining imagery with handbuilding to create decorated functional or artistic pieces.

Pottery: Introduction to Throwing

Learn and enjoy the art of throwing with professional instruction on how to make a range of pottery shapes on a wheel. This one-day workshop is aimed at anyone interested in clay and pottery and the perfect course for complete beginners who wants to see what it's all about or for those aiming to improve your basic throwing skills to the next level.

Pottery: Throwing Altered Form

This workshop will focus on taking wheel-thrown, symmetrical forms and manipulating them at the leather-hard stage to create unique, asymmetrical, or sculptural functional pieces. It bridges the gap between traditional wheel-throwing and hand-building techniques.
