Approaches to Oil Painting
The course will encourage you to examine the possible influences in style and techniques of artists old and new on contemporary art.
What The Course is About:
The aim of the course will be for you to improve painting techniques and the confidence to select the valid techniques that will help with your own personal development.
You will therefore be analysing and exploring the techniques of both past and contemporary techniques.
You will learn from the experience of attempting to replicate technique, by individual tuition, group discussions and demonstrations.
Materials Required:
You will be given a list of materials at the start of the course including Kitchen Towel.

All Levels
End of course:
You will learn how to organise and mix colours using a range of palettes, improving your skills when applying paint and developing skills in achieving colour contrasts, balancing compositions and developing a spatial awareness of oil paint.
