Intaglio and Relief Printmaking Workshop

Discover the creative possibilities of Intaglio & Relief Printmaking in this one day workshop at Putney School of Art and Design

Open to  learners of all abilities, the session offers a supportive environment to explore printmaking through an experimental and ideas-led approach.

What The Course is About:

Whether you’re new to print or looking to push your practice further, you’ll be encouraged to develop imagery, test processes, and work creatively with materials.

The day will aim to challenge and build knowledge in techniques and confidence in all mediums. To get the most from this day, bring with you an ability to take risks, an enquiring and curious approach and a willingness to invest time into the process. A serious approach to the activity of having fun and capitalising on happy accidents (the printmakers friend) is also beneficial.

Examples of approaches will be shown and the range of materials to be used will be discussed.

Materials Required:

The library is available for research.

Studio 4 has 2 nip presses and two etching presses.
