Kids Art Club 8-12 years
Saturday term time classes for young students wanting to enjoy art in a fun, relaxed group. Different projects will explore themes or artists using different techniques. Age range: 8-12 years not accompanied by an adult
N.B Please make sure you collect your child/children on time.
What The Course is About:
In a relaxed, fun and sociable environment students will be introduced to a variety of art techniques. Students will be taught observational drawing and painting skills using the elements of art. We will explore imaginative approaches to collage, printmaking and 3D constructions. Various artist's work will be looked at for inspiration and art historical knowledge.
Materials Required:
What to bring to the first session: All materials are supplied but please bring an apron or an old shirt and a snack (juice and water will be supplied for the break).
Previous Experience:
Interest in Arts and Crafts activities.
End of course:
What will I achieve? You will learn some fun techniques and experiment with a variety of materials. This course will be hands on and you will produce some exciting artwork for your portfolio during the term.
