NEW: Independent Practice (Pottery)

This pottery opportunity is aimed at current and recent PSAD students with studio experience and safe working practices who need additional time for making and finishing work. You will be able to work on your own projects without a tutor, but with a technician on site.

You can attend on a ‘Pay As You Go’ basis, session by session, subject to place availability.

Alternatively, you can book your place on individual sessions in advance online or with our administration team.

Pay As You Go fee is £27.50 (£22.50 for 60+ Wandsworth Residents)

What The Course is About:

Independent Practice sessions are available to current PSAD students that already have experience of working with clay and are interested in working to complete their own projects. You will be expected to work using safe practices and manage the progress of your own work.

Materials Required:

Please bring a plastic wipeable apron, if you have one and any tools. The school shop stocks basic requirements.

N.B Different clay will need to be weighed and paid for before firing to cover the cost of two firings and glaze/colour materials. We have Stoneware/Earthenware (Terracotta) /Porcelain clays to use.

Previous Experience:

This course is aimed at current PSAD students with experience who need additional time within the pottery studio.

End of course:

What will I achieve? You will be working on your own projects.
