February Half Term – 2 Days: Creative Sketchbooks

Exploring different materials and approaches to creating lively sketchbooks that can help feed and develop your artistic practice.

What The Course is About:

The 2 Day Course will explore different ways to use a sketchbook and to try out a variety of materials and approaches. Sketchbooks have been and continue to be a vital part of the practice of artists and designers, a place to record our experience of the world and to play with ideas generated.

Materials Required:

What to bring to the first session: An A5 and an A4 sketchbook, a selection of pencils including coloured pencils if you have them. Watercolours and brushes would also be useful.

End of course:

What will I achieve? You will learn a range of techniques to use within your sketchbook to enhance your creative confidence and hopefully re-invigorate and challenge your current art practice and thinking.
