INVENTING LANDSCAPES; 2D - 3D EXPLORING THE REAL AND UNREAL; THINKING LIKE AN ARTIST In this course, you will explore materials and structures using a variety of models and approaches to generate responses in 2d and 3d (micro/macro).
Students will present their projects for discussion in an informal and supportive group setting with one - to - one tutorials where the focus is on mentoring from the tutor alongside critical peer reviews, with guidance given on art historical and contemporary related models, exhibition curation and gallery visits.
If you wish to develop a good grounding in a variety aspects of painting, drawing and mixed media together with an awareness of contemporary and historical art . In particular those who may wish to put together a portfolio for application to a higher level* course or employment in a related field.
This course is aimed at anyone interested in clay and pottery. Experienced potters will be able to work on their own projects while beginners will be introduced to various pottery techniques, and good studio practices.
