Egg Tempera Painting
Egg tempera is a painting technique that was a primary method of painting until after 1500 when it was superseded by the invention of oil painting.
Experimental Art & Media (Intermediate)
This course will give you the knowledge and confidence to experiment with a range of different materials to develop your own ideas and personal visual language.
Foundation Diploma in Art and Design/Portfolio Prep
Interviews have started...This course is offered part-time 9 hours a week, with a requirement to attend two core courses plus a third option each term over two years. Enroll on the NEW Portfolio Preparation 3D Campus - Putney School of Art and Design (psad.org.uk) to prepare for the Diploma course. Garden Design – Design Your Own Garden 3D Campus
This is an intensive 6 -week course aimed at people who are interested in garden design but have varied to no experience of gardening or design.
Illustration (All Levels)
Over this 10-week course, published author/illustrator Sophie Ambrose will take you through all the steps from developing your initial idea to putting together a dummy picture book with a sample of artwork
NEW Fine Art Textiles
In the last decade the expressive skills of crafts and making have become valued as fine art practice. This course will allow students to work creatively with a broad range of materials and processes usually associated with textiles. It will provide an opportunity to explore and combine a variety of accessible techniques.
NEW Portfolio Preparation 3D Campus
If you wish to develop a good grounding in a variety aspects of painting, drawing and mixed media together with an awareness of contemporary and historical art . In particular those who may wish to put together a portfolio for application to a higher level* course or employment in a related field.

This course is aimed at anyone interested in clay and pottery.
Oct Half Term – 2 Days Printmaking for Young People (Lino & Mono) 13-17 Years
On this two day course you will be introduced to Lino cut and Mono Printing techniques.
Oct Half Term – 2 Days: Drawing & Pastels (All Levels)
A two-day workshop exploring chalk pastels. This course is ideal for beginners as well as those who have some experience of using chalk pastels and would like to improve their skills with drawing and colour.
Oct Half Term – 2 Days: Etching All Level
Beginners will learn the core etching processes of hard ground and aquatint, through demonstrations and hands-on practice. Experienced students are also welcome on the course either for a refresher or to pursue their own projects with 1:1 tutor support.

This course is aimed at anyone interested in clay and pottery. Experienced potters will be able to work on their own projects while beginners will be introduced to various pottery techniques, and good studio practices.

An enjoyable and challenging course designed to build on existing skills to create a varied body of work useful for GCSE and A level course work or for a dynamic foundation portfolio.
Oct Half Term – Botanical Still Life: Fruits and Seed Pods in a quiet homely setting 3D Campus
This Two-day workshop is for students of all levels (excluding absolute beginners: i.e. those that have never drawn anything before or have very little to no training in the accuracy required for botanical illustration / botanical paintings).
