Egg Tempera Painting
Egg tempera is a painting technique that was a primary method of painting until after 1500 when it was superseded by the invention of oil painting.
Experimental Art & Media (Intermediate)
This course will give you the knowledge and confidence to experiment with a range of different materials to develop your own ideas and personal visual language.
Foundation Diploma in Art and Design/Portfolio Prep
Interviews have started...This course is offered part-time 9 hours a week, with a requirement to attend two core courses plus a third option each term over two years. Enroll on the NEW Portfolio Preparation 3D Campus - Putney School of Art and Design (psad.org.uk) (Spring term course started on Thursday 4 January 2024 from 2-5pm ) to prepare for the Diploma course 2024 Start. Garden Design – Design Your Own Garden 3D Campus
This is an intensive 6 -week course aimed at people who are interested in garden design but have varied to no experience of gardening or design.
Illustration (All Levels)
Over this 10-week course, published author/illustrator Sophie Ambrose will take you through all the steps from developing your initial idea to putting together a dummy picture book with a sample of artwork

For beginners and experienced students, covering the core processes of soft ground, hard ground and aquatint, through demonstrations.
May Half Term – 3 Days: Pottery Workshop 3D Campus
Learn and enjoy the magic of throwing on the wheel or handbuilding, with professional instruction on how to make a range of pottery shapes or a project.
May Half Term – 3D Campus – Family Learning Pottery
With an emphasis on fun, this is an opportunity to work with your child on some great creative projects with clay.
May Half Term – 3D Campus – Kids Pottery 8-12 Years
Have fun making and decorating clay pots and figures.
May Half Term – Art & Design for Young People 13-18 Years
An enjoyable and challenging course designed to build on existing skills to create a varied body of work useful for GCSE and A level course work or for a dynamic foundation portfolio.
May Half Term – B&W Darkroom Photography
This course is ideal for beginners who would like to learn how to print their own black and white photos. Students will be shown how to use the darkroom, enlargers, and photographic chemistry properly to achieve successful results.
May Half Term – Botanical Art: Painting Spring flowers and/or Leaves at a “Monumental” Scale – 3D Campus
This is a two-day workshop painting in water colours a single flower or a leaf or a portion of either/both at an oversized scale.
May Half Term – Collagraph Printmaking Day
A one-day course where you will create a collagraph plate using simple found materials, textured papers, glue, resins and more.
May Half Term – Digital Photography & Photoshop
This practical course is designed for those who own a digital camera and want to maximise its potential and learn the fundamental skills to improve your digital photography and Photoshop skills

This course presents an opportunity to re - invigorate current practice by generating a body of artwork that explores a variety of imaginative approaches to a given theme(s).
May Half Term – Experimental Landscape Painting
Landscapes are the starting point for exploring different ways to paint. Weather permitting, we will go outside to do sketches and take photos for use back in the studio.
