May Half Term – Independent Practice: Pottery
This pottery course is aimed at current and recent PSAD students who need additional time within the pottery studio. You will be able to work on your own projects.
May Half Term – Introduction to Watercolour Painting
This course is ideal for complete beginners who have never used watercolour before, or for those with some experience, who’d like to brush up their skills and gain confidence in using this medium.
May Half Term – Life Drawing (All Levels)
The aim of the course is to encourage students to develop their drawing skills via access to what some consider the most compelling form, the nude and clothed human body.
May Half Term – Lightroom & Photoshop for Photographers
This course is ideal for photographers who want to take their images to the next level using leading industry photo software.
May Half Term – Lino Printing Day
The course will cover the creation of your design, colour mixing and finishing to a professional standard whilst exploring relief printing using lino blocks in just one day.
May Half Term – Open Studio Etching
Open studio Printmaking sessions are available to those that already have experience of printing techniques
May Half Term – Open Studio Painting
Painting Open Studio is for experienced students or advanced painting skills so that they can work independently.

This is a practical course, which will be tailored to the individual student capabilities.
May Half Term – Painterly Screenprinting
Suitable for those who already have experience of screenprinting but want to bring a painterly depth to their screenprints using blends and handmade stencils created with TruGrain.
May Half Term – Photography for Young People 13-17 years
On this course participants will learn to use a digital camera in a fun and creative way.
May Half Term – Portrait Drawing (All Levels)
An intensive one-day course working with varied approaches to portrait drawing.
NEW Portfolio Preparation 3D Campus
If you wish to develop a good grounding in a variety aspects of painting, drawing and mixed media together with an awareness of contemporary and historical art . In particular those who may wish to put together a portfolio for application to a higher level* course or employment in a related field.
NEW: Independent Practice (Fine Art)
This Painting/Fine Art course is aimed at students who need additional time within a purpose built (North Facing) large painting studio. You will be able to work on your own projects.
Planting Design
This is an intensive 8 week course in planting design, aimed at students that have completed the garden design course earlier this year and may be interested in learning about planting design and apply this to their own garden design during the course.
Pottery: Glazing Workshop
This course is aimed at students that want to improve their glazing techniques. Some experience with pottery is expected but not required.
Summer School – Good Artists Copy Great Artists Steal: Matisse – Still Life
Take what you need from this course which explores the colour and ambiguities of space in the still-life paintings of Henri Matisse, and how these works influenced late twentieth-century painters such as Hans Hofmann, Richard Diebenkorn, and Nicolas de Staël.
Summer School – 2 Days Collagraph Printmaking Workshop
A two-day course where you will create collagraph plates using simple found materials, textured papers, glue, resins and more.
Summer School – 2 Days: Alternative Sustainable Etching (All Levels)
On this 2 day course you will explore alternative sustainable Etching processes.
Summer School – 2 Days: Art and Design for Young People 13-17 years
An enjoyable and challenging course designed to build on existing skills to create a varied body of work useful for GCSE and A level course work or for a dynamic foundation portfolio.
