May Half Term – 2 Days: Introduction to Pottery 14 Plus 3D Campus

This course is aimed at anyone interested in clay and pottery.

What The Course is About:

This two-day workshop will introduce beginners to the basic throwing and handbuilding techniques for creating forms in clay. Your experienced tutor will also demonstrate these techniques and guide you with your own work.

Materials Required:

Basic hand tools can be bought from the school shop but there are also some communal tools available to start with. Materials such as clay, slips and glazes are provided and a charge is made based on the weight of your work prior to firing. You will also need a suitable waterproof apron.
