This one-day pottery workshop will introduce beginners to the basic throwing and handbuilding techniques for creating forms in clay.

What The Course is About:

This one-day workshop will introduce beginners to the basic throwing and handbuilding techniques for creating forms in clay. Your experienced tutor will also demonstrate these techniques and guide you with your own work.

Materials Required:

Basic hand tools can be bought from the school shop but there are also some communal tools available to start with.

Materials such as clay, slips and glazes are provided and a charge is made based on the weight of your work prior to firing. You will also need a suitable waterproof apron.

Previous Experience:

What will I achieve? This class offers beginners to try throwing on the wheel and basic handbuilding with the magic of clay!
