Oct Half Term – Lightroom & Photoshop for Photographers

This course is ideal for photographers who want to take their images to the next level using leading industry photo software. Students will be shown the tools available in Lightroom and Photoshop to enhance their photos to a professional standard

What The Course is About:

Learn how to edit, colour correct, and make adjustments to your photos to bring out their true potential. This course will guide you through the process of image manipulation software to attain professional results from your camera. Colour and contrast correction, creating masks, removal of objects, retouching, layers, good workflow, and picture profiles are just some of the things that will covered in the lesson.

Materials Required:

Students are asked to bring a large selection of images on either a digital camera or a MAC compatible memory stick. We will use these images in class to demonstrate how to use the software.

Previous Experience:

Suitable for photography enthusiasts with basic computer skills, and little to no experience with photo editing.

End of course:

You will understand the difference between shooting RAW vs Jpeg, and how to improve your photos to a professional standard using Adobe software. You will have a greater understanding of how to expose your images properly, and how to fix them if they are not.
