Summer School – 2 Days: Watercolour Painting

This course is aimed at complete beginners who want to learn the basics of
watercolour or students with some knowledge wanting to improve their watercolour skills.

What The Course is About:

On this two-day course you will be taught about colour mixing and a range of watercolour techniques. You will be finding ways to express colour, light and texture using watercolour techniques. We will be experimenting with different ways of using paint and will look at how watercolour painters use various techniques.

Materials Required:

Pencil [HB or 2B], eraser, Watercolour paints [pans or tubes], Watercolour palette for mixing paints, Watercolour brushes [synthetic rounds – No 8, No 16] Watercolour pad [A3 Cold-pressed NOT] or alternatively you can buy sheets of watercolour paper from the shop at PSAD, Plastic pot for water.

The aim of the course is to help you develop your skill as a watercolour painter and also improve your drawing skills.
