Botanic Drawing & Painting (Beginners to Intermediate)
This is a course in Botanical Illustration is for the beginner to intermediate level Botanical illustrator students as well as continuing students of this course.
Botanic Drawing & Painting (Intermediate / Advanced)
Working from plants and flowers and other natural organic forms you will be the discipline of careful observational drawing and painting.
Botanical Drawings & Illustration (Absolute Beginners and Continuing Beginner Students)
This is a course in botanical illustration for the beginner as well as continuing beginner-students of botanical art and illustration. All ages of beginner level are welcome.
Drawing & Colour (All Levels)
This course is for all levels. Both beginners and those with experience, who’d like to improve their drawing and gain confidence with their colour work. All levels are welcome as the tutor will set projects for your skill level.
Drawing into Watercolour & Gouache
This course aims to develop your drawing abilities further, which in turn will underpin both your painting in watercolour and gouache.
Drawing with Pastels (All levels)
Pastels are ideal for sketching, perfect for capturing light and movement and for more developed results.
Expressive Drawing & Painting: Flora & Natural Forms
This is a studio-based 12-week course exploring expressive painting and drawing techniques to create a vibrant and impactful series of works in response to flowers and other plant forms.
Introduction to Watercolour and Experimental Techniques
This course is designed for beginners with little or no experience with the delicate medium of watercolour. We will work and develop your skills and a focus on understanding of the experimental medium of watercolour. We will explore traditional methods of mixing colour and students will also be encouraged to play and develop their own take on the age-old method.
NEW Expressive Pastels (All Levels)
This course will explore chalk pastels as well as oil pastels. Known for its vibrant effects, chalk pastel is a great medium, combining colour and drawing with an expressive immediacy.
NEW Watercolour for Beginners
This course is ideal for beginners who want to learn the essential techniques and approaches of watercolour painting, and to develop skills in using this exciting medium.
Painting with Gouache 3D Campus (All levels)
Learn to use the vibrant and versatile medium of Gouache paint – a medium used by artists such as Matisse, John Piper, Paul Klee and David Hockney.
