Summer School – Introduction to Landscape Drawing

A one day workshop exploring landscape whilst improving drawing skills.

What The Course is About:

We will explore the subject of Landscape using a variety of drawing media to develop exciting personal responses. Weather permitting, we will go outside to do sketching from direct observation as well as taking photos to provide reference material to use back in the studio.

Materials Required:

Pencils (HB 2B 4B), charcoal, white chalk, pastels, good erasers,

All Levels

End of course:

A wider experience of using a variety of drawing media and greater confidence in handling them. You will practise drawing from observation with rigor. You will develop lively and personal responses.
