What The Course is About:

Develop and build up your artistry in this focused two-day workshop. We dive deep into the mechanics of painting—covering basic colour theory, composition, and the mastery of light and dark. Working from a mixture of direct observation and photographic sources.

Day 1: Mastering the basics, sketching, underpainting and blocking in colour.

Day 2: Refining your vision, adding texture,details and final flourishes.

Combining personalised feedback, live demonstrations and a chance to look at slides of various artist’s work, you will gain the confidence to tackle complex subjects on your own.

Materials Required:

What to bring to the first session: Please bring a basic set of oil colours, brushes, plus linseed oil & 'zest it'
